==Life==
Boris was born the eldest child and son of '''Kardam, Prince of Turnovo''' and '''Archduchess Viridis of Austria'''.

Boris became heir to his grandfather upon his father's death in 2015. In 2018, the tsar named Boris Prince of Turnovo, the traditional title for the heir to the Bulgarian throne. 

==Marriage and Issue==
On 7 October 2023, Boris married '''Infanta Maria Francisca, Duchess of Coimbra''' in Sofia. 

On 7 January 2025, it was announced that Boris and Maria Francisca were expecting their first child together. On 6 July 2025, Maria Francisca gave birth to a daughter, '''Elena'''.
