==Life==
Alexander Philip was born the third and youngest child of '''Duke Andreas of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha''' and '''Princess Elena of Romania'''.

In 2010, his wife was named Hereditary Duchess of Anhalt and he subsequently moved with his family to Anhalt. Shortly after, he was named a Prince of Anhalt by his father-in-law. 

==Marriage and Issue==
On 12 July 2008, Alexander Philip married '''Katharina, Hereditary Duchess of Anhalt''' in Dessau. The couple have one child, '''Maxime'''.
