Moritz, Hereditary Grand Duke of Hesse (born Prince Moritz of Hesse on 26 March 2007) is a member of the Hessian Grand Ducal Family as the eldest son and heir of Donatus, Grand Duke of Hesse.

Life[edit | edit source]

Moritz was born the eldest child of Donatus, Grand Duke of Hesse and Countess Floria of Faber-Castell.

He is the twin brother of Princess Paulina of Hesse.

Moritz became heir to the throne upon the death of his grandfather in 2013.
