Maria Isabella, Duchess of Genoa (born Princess Maria Isabella of Genoa on 23 June 1943) is the current reigning Duchess of Genoa. She is also a member of the Sardinian nobility as the consort of Alberto, Count of Rezzano.

Life

Maria Isabella was born the only child of Duke Eugenio of Genoa and Princess Lucia of the Two Sicilies.

In 1990, shortly after her father succeeded to the throne, he declared Maria Isabella to be his heir. In early 1991, this was approved by King Victor Emmanuel IV of Italy.

Marriage and Issue

On 29 April 1971, Maria Isabella married Alberto, Count of Rezzano in Genoa. The couple have three children, Vittorio, Carlo, and Maria Luce.
