Maria, Princess of Lippe (born Countess Maria of Solms-Laubach on 12 August 1968) is a member of the Lippe Princely Family as the current Princess consort. She is also a member of the Hessian nobility as the sister of Karl Georg, Count of Solms-Laubach.
Life
Maria was born the eight child and youngest daughter of Otto, Count of Solms-Laubach and Princess Madeleine of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg.
From the death of her mother-in-law in 1997, Maria served as First Lady of the Court for her father-in-law, Armin.
Marriage and Issue
On 15 October 1994, Maria married Stephan, Hereditary Prince of Lippe in Detmold. the couple have five children, Bernhard, Heinrich, Benjamin, Luise, and Mathilde.
