Alberto, Prince Consort of Genoa (born Alberto, Hereditary Count of Rezzano on 7 April 1943) is a member of the Genoese Ducal Family as the current Prince Consort of Genoa. He is also a member of the Sardinian nobility as the current Count of Rezzano.
Life[edit | edit source]
Alberto was born the only child of Guido, Count of Rezzano and Vittoria Fabbri.
In 1968, Alberto succeeded his father as Count of Rezzano. In 1990, her moved with his family to Genoa in order for his wife to take up her new role as Hereditary Duchess of Genoa.
Alberto was named Prince Consort of Genoa by his wife shortly after her accession.
Marriage and Issue[edit | edit source]
On 29 April 1971, Alberto married Princess Maria Isabella of Genoa in Genoa. The couple have three children, Vittorio, Carlo, and Maria Luce.
