Astrid, Duchess of Modena (born Princess Astrid of Belgium on 5 June 1962) is a member of the Modense Ducal Family as the Duchess consort of Lorenz, Duke of Modena.

Life

Astrid was born the second child and only daughter of Albert, Prince of Liege and Princess Paola of Ruffo-Calabria.

Astrid became Duchess of Modena upon the ascension of her husband in 1996.

Marriage and Issue

On 22 September 1984, Astrid married Lorenz, Duke of Modena in Modena. The couple have five children, Amedeo, Maria Laura, Joachim, Luisa Maria, and Laetitia Maria.
