Monica de Habsburgo y Saxe-Meiningen, Duchess of Santangelo (born Archduchess Monica of Austria on 13 September 1954) is a member of the Spanish nobility as the consort of Luis de Casanova y Baron, Duke of Santangelo. She is also a member of the Austrian Imperial Family as the sister of Charles II, Emperor of Austria.

Life

Monica was born the second child of Emperor Otto of Austria and Princess Regina of Saxe-Meiningen.

She is the twin sister of Archduchess Michaela of Austria.

Marriage and Issue

On 21 June 1980, Monica married Don Luis de Casanova y Baron, Marquess of Elche in Vienna. The couple have four sons, Baltasar, Gabriel, Rafael, and Santiago.
