Mafalda Cecilia, Crown Princess of Austria (born Princess Mafalda Cecilia of Preslav on 27 July 1994) is a member of the Austrian Imperial Family as the daughter-in-law of Charles II, Emperor of Austria. She is also a member of the Bulgarian Royal Family as the granddaughter of Simeon II, Tsar of Bulgaria, as well as the Romanian Royal Family as the niece of Margareta, Queen of Romania.

Life

Mafalda Cecilia was born the eldest child of Kyril, Prince of Preslav and Princess Maria of Romania.

Marriage and Issue

On 6 April 2020, Mafalda Cecilia's engagement to Ferdinand, Crown Prince of Austria was announced. The couple were married in Vienna on 31 January 2021.

Ferdinand and Mafalda Cecilia welcomed their first child, Regina, in 2021. Their second daughter, Zita, was born in 2024.
