Queen Amelie of Spain (born Princess Amelie of Sweden on 1 October 2020) is a member of the Spanish Royal Family as the current Queen consort. She is also a member of the Swedish Royal Family as the daughter of Carl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden, as well as the British Royal Family as the niece of James IV, King of the United Kingdom.

Life

Amelie was born the fourth and youngest child of Carl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden and Theresa, Princess Royal.

Marriage and Issue

On 1 January 2020, Amelie married Juan II, King of Spain in Madrid. Juan and Amelie have two children, Alfonso and Antonia.
