Queen Stephanie of Finland (born Princess Stephanie of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha on 31 January 1972) is a member of the Finnish Royal Family as the current Queen consort. She is also a member of the Saxe-Coburg and Gotha Ducal Family as the sister of Hubertus, Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha.
Life
Stephanie was born the eldest child and only daughter of Duke Andreas of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and Princess Elena of Romania.
Stephanie became the first Queen of Finland in over fifty-five years upon her marriage.
Marriage and Issue
On 5 May 2000, Stephanie married Filip, King of Finland in Helsinki. Filip and Stephanie have three children, Elena, Frederik, and Mathilde.
