Maria Anna, Baroness Maltzahn (born Princess Maria Anna of Bavaria on 7 May 1975) is a member of the Mecklenburg nobility as the current Baroness Maltzahn. She is also a member of the Bavarian Royal Family as the niece of Franz, King of Bavaria.

Life

Maria Anna was born the fifth and youngest child of Max, Crown Prince of Bavaria and Countess Elisabeth Douglas.

Marriage and Issue

On 8 September 2007, Maria Anna married Andreas, Baron Maltzahn. The couple have two sons, Johannes and Heinrich.
