Prince Joseph, Duke of Valois (born Prince Gaston, Duke of Anjou on 2 June 2016) is a member of the French Royal Family as the son and heir of Jean IV, King of France. He is also a member of the Spanish Royal Family as the nephew of Juan II, King of Spain.
Life
Gaston was born the eldest child of Jean IV, King of France and Infanta Eugenie of Spain.
He became Dauphin of France upon the death of his grandfather in 2019.
