Princess Bona of Italy (born 11 July 1989) is a member of the Italian Royal Family as the sister of Victoria, Queen of Italy. She is also a member of the Hanoverian Royal Family as the daughter-in-law of Ernest Augustus V, King of Hanover, the Monegasque Princely Family as the niece-in-law of Albert II, Prince of Monaco, and the Romanian Royal Family as the niece of Margareta, Queen of Romania.

Life

Bon was born the third child and second daughter of King Victor Emmanuel IV of Italy and Princess Irina of Romania.

In 2015, Bona was outed as a lesbian by an Italian tabloid, who photographed Bona and her then-girlfriend, Charlotte, during a private holiday.

Marriage and Issue

On 16 February 2017, Bona married Princess Charlotte of Hanover in Hanover. Charlotte and Bona met five years prior at the wedding of Charlotte's cousin, Prince Otto Heinrich of Hanover to Bona's sister, Victoria. The couple have two children, Yolanda and Filiberto.
