Alexander, Hereditary Grand Duke of Oldenburg (born Prince Alexander of Oldenburg on 17 March 1990) is a member of the Oldenburg Grand Ducal Family as the son and heir of Christian, Grand Duke of Oldenburg. He is also a member of the Yugoslavian Royal Family as the son-in-law of Alexander II, King of Yugoslavia,
Life
Alexander was born the eldest child of Christian, Grand Duke of Oldenburg and Countess Caroline of Rantzau.
On 30 March 2022, Alexander was named regent of the grand duchy after his father was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.
Marriage and Issue
On 12 October 2024, Alexander married Princess Olga of Yugoslavia in Oldenburg. Alexander and Olga have one son, Nikolaus.
