Sophie, Duchess of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (born Princess Sophie of Schleswig-Holstein on 9 October 1983) is a member of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha Ducal Family as the consort of Hubertus, Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. She is also a member of the Schleswig-Holstein Ducal Family as the sister of Friedrich Ferdinand II, Duke of Schleswig-Holstein, as well as the Romanian Royal Family as the niece-in-law of Margareta, Queen of Romania.

Sophie was born the eldest child and only daughter of Duke Christoph of Schleswig-Holstein and Princess Elisabeth of Lippe-Weissenfeld.
Sophie became Duchess of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha upon the death of her father-in-law in 2025
Marriage and Issue[edit | edit source]
On 23 May 2009, Sophie married Hubertus, Hereditary Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha in Coburg. The couple have three children, Katharina, Philipp, and Madeleine.
