Prince Carl Johan, Duke of Varmland (born 13 May 1988) is a member of the Swedish Royal Family as the son of Carl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden. He is also a member of the British Royal Family as the nephew of James IV, King of the United Kingdom.

Carl Johan was born the second child and only son of Carl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden and Theresa, Princess Royal.

Carl Johan is godfather to his niece, Victoria, Hereditary Princess of Sweden.
