Juan II, King of Spain (born Infante Juan of Spain on 4 February 1985) is the current reigning King of Spain. He is also a member of the Swedish Royal Family as the son-in-law of Carl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden, as well as the British Royal Family as the nephew-in-law of James IV, King of the United Kingdom.

Life

Juan was born the eldest child of King Francisco of Spain and Princess Tatiana of Yugoslavia.

He succeeded his father as King of Spain upon his death in 2014.

Marriage and Issue

On 1 January 2020, Juan married Princess Amelie of Sweden in Madrid. Juan and Amelie have two children, Alfonso and Antonia.
