Ingrid, Crown Princess of Sweden (born 9 November 1986) is a member of the Swedish Royal Family as the daughter and heir of Carl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden. She is also a member of the British Royal Family as the niece of James IV, King of the United Kingdom, as well as the Yugoslavian Royal Family as the daughter-in-law of Alexander II, King of Yugoslavia.
Life
Ingrid was born the eldest child of Carl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden and Theresa, Princess Royal.
She was the first Swedish princess to be born with succession rights, and the first that could not be overtaken in the line of succession by the birth of a younger brother.
Since her mother's death in 2019, Ingrid has served as First Lady of the Court for her father.
Marriage and Issue
On 14 September 2013, Ingrid married Prince Alexander of Yugoslavia in Stockholm. Alexander and Ingrid have three daughters, Victoria, Louise, and Alice.
