Princess Charlotte of Italy (born Princess Charlotte of Hanover on 3 August 1986) is a member of the Italian Royal Family as the sister-in-law of Victoria, Queen of Italy. She is also a member of the Hanoverian Royal Family as the daughter of Ernest Augustus V, King of Hanover, the Monegasque Princely Family as the niece of Albert II, Prince of Monaco, and the Romanian Royal Family as the niece-in-law of Margareta, Queen of Romania.

Charlotte was born the fourth child and elder daughter of Ernest Augustus V, King of Hanover and Princess Caroline of Monaco.
In 2011, during an interview to mark her twenty-fifth birthday, Charlotte came out as a lesbian.
Marriage and Issue[edit | edit source]
On 16 February 2017, Charlotte married Princess Bona of Italy in Hanover. Charlotte and Bona met five years prior at the wedding of Charlotte's cousin, Prince Otto Heinrich of Hanover to Bona's sister, Victoria. The couple have two children, Yolanda and Filiberto.
