Arthur, Prince of Wales (born Prince Arthur of Wales on 22 May 1981) is a member of the British Royal Family as the son and heir of James IV, King of the United Kingdom. He is also a member of the Hanoverian Royal Family as the nephew of Ernest Augustus V, King of Hanover, as well as the Spanish Royal Family as the brother-in-law of Juan II, King of Spain.

Life

Arthur was born the only child of James IV, King of the United Kingdom and Princess Olga of Hanover.

He became heir to the British throne upon the death of his grandfather in 2016.

Marriage and Issue

On 24 April 2014, Arthur married Infanta Leonor of Spain in London. Arthur and Leonor have four children, Charlotte, George, Louis, and Adelaide.
