Princess Charlotte of Wales (born Princess Charlotte of Kent on 7 July 2016) is a member of the British Royal Family as the granddaughter of James IV, King of the United Kingdom. She is also a member of the Spanish Royal Family as the niece of Juan II, King of Spain.

Charlotte was born the eldest child of Arthur, Prince of Wales and Infanta Leonor of Spain. She is the first British princess to be born with succession rights that cannot be overtaken by the birth of a younger brother.
