Beatrice Maria, Dowager Queen of the Netherlands (born Princess Beatrice Maria of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach on 11 March 1948) is a member of the Dutch Royal Family as the mother of Casimir, King of the Netherlands. She was the Queen consort of the Netherlands from 2004 to 2013. She is also a member of the Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach Grand Ducal Family as the sister of Michael, Grand Duke of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach.

Beatrice Maria was born the third and youngest child of Grand Duke Charles Augustus II of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach and Elisabeth von Wangenheim-Winterstein.

Marriage and Issue[edit | edit source]

On 5 November 1982, Beatrice Maria married Bernhard, Prince of Orange. The couple had five children, Casimir, Frederick, Marianne, Willem, and Johan.

Beatrice Maria was widowed in 2013.
