Marie Therese, Hereditary Princess of Waldburg and Zeil-Trauchburg (born Princess Marie Therese of Waldburg and Zeil-Trauchburg on 4 October 1989) is a member of the Wurttemberg nobility as the daughter and heiress of Erich, Prince of Waldburg and Zeil-Trauchburg. She is also a member of the Luxembourg Grand Ducal Family as the daughter-in-law of Henri, Grand Duke of Luxembourg.
Life[edit | edit source]
Marie Therese was born the eldest child of Erich, Prince of Waldburg and Zeil-Trauchburg and Princess Mathilde of Wurttemberg.
In 1999, Marie Therese's father announced changes to succession law for House Waldburg to allow for female succession, as he and Mathilde have no daughters. In 2000, her grandfather, King Carl II of Wurttemberg, approved these changes and Marie Therese was named Hereditary Princess.
Marriage and Issue[edit | edit source]
On 21 September 2013, Marie Therese married Prince Felix of Luxembourg in Zeil. The couple have four children, Amalia, Wilhelm, Balthazar, and Karl.
